This year, KAAAV is hosting the VMPC Hybrid Conference locally, giving volunteer engagement professionals the opportunity to participate in the conference together, in person, at Hotel Dieu Hospital.
The conference will explore how volunteer engagement can remain strong, adaptable and sustainable in the years ahead, with practical strategies for building resiliency, strengthening volunteer support systems and preparing for future challenges.
The day will include facilitated breakout discussions, professional development and opportunities to connect and share ideas with volunteer engagement professionals from across the country — while also connecting with colleagues right here in the Kingston community.

Attendance at the locally hosted conference is included with KAAAV membership. If your organization isn’t currently a member, you can join KAAAV for $35 and attend the conference at no additional cost, while also enjoying the benefits of KAAAV membership for the remainder of the year.
It’s a great opportunity to experience what KAAAV has to offer, connect with other local volunteer engagement professionals and take part in a full day of professional development.

- RSVP is required, in order to ensure sufficient seating and refreshments
*our Annual General Meeting (AGM) is often held in the afternoon and on a Friday (varies)
Meetings run from 9:00 until 11 AM and typically follow this format:
9:00 to 9:05 = Introductions
9:05 to 10:05 = Feature Presentation
10:05 to 10:30 = KAAAV Executive Business
10:30 to 11:00 = Networking & Information Sharing
