2. Certification and Recertification packages are now available at PAVRO Certification Application
A new option this year is for Certification applicants to be matched through the PAVRO Mentor Program with a CVRM PAVRO member to provide support through the process. Application deadline for the Mentor Program has been extended to October 31st, 2017.
3. Canadian Code for Volunteer Involvement (CCVI)
A new training program for the Canadian Code for Volunteer Involvement (CCVI) has been launched in Ontario and is FREE to early applicants. This new program is available both online and in-person at various communities across the province, and aligns perfectly with your goals to help support volunteers and build great and caring communities. The online training program is available for one year and can be used whenever it is convenient, but the FREE subsidized applications are available on a first come basis and only until March 15th! Note that you can only have one subsidy per organization. If multiple applications are received, only the first will be approved. If you would like an in-person training in Kingston, please let KAAAV know. They will be in a variety of communities but so far Kingston is not on their list. One of our members has signed up and said the modules can take up to 1.5 hours and there are 10 modules.
